CARES Act Community Grants

 

Eligibility Requirements

​

• Applications for community groups to communicate interest will be accepted via a short online fill-in-form. At the end of the grant application period, the proposals will be reviewed by the grant review committee who will make funding recommendations to The Alliance Board of Directors for final approval.

• CARES Act funds may not be used as a match for other federal funding sources.

 

• The fund itself will not accept requests from individuals or on behalf of individuals. Individuals seeking assistance must request help from community partner organizations that have been awarded grants.

 

• Applicants will be required to use the funds in support of programmatic activities and services in Prince William County.

  

• Grants are limited to 501(c)(3) nonprofits that serve the residents of Prince William County.

 

• Undocumented individuals must be eligible to receive assistance through the funded project’s provision of services.
